Company History

Beck Oilfield Supply, Inc. was established as Beck Pump & Supply, Inc. in 1967 by Bill and Edna Beck. Bill worked for (Continental Emsco, LTV, and Wilson) Supply from the early 50’s to the late 60’s being transferred from Boom Town to Boom Town before settling in Hennessey, Oklahoma.

Bill and his wife raised three boys and with little money and a lot of ambition, the business persevered through the booms and busts of the 70’, 80’s and 90’s and with much determination they were able to overcome the difficulties before them. The Beck sons, Terry, Tim and Tracy came to work for the family business during this time. Bill is now retired after working half-days (7am to 7pm) the last few years.

Over time, the lines of business came to include not only supplies and oilfield equipment, but oil & gas operations/production, oilfield construction and fluid hauling. The roustabout, construction and trucking business was spun off into a separate company in 1989 and is now named Ranger Oilfield Services Corp.
